....mmm, Patagonia.
We walked into Chile and kept on walking...

... and on the way passed some funny guys with oxes.

Then we got picked up by two old fellas driving a white truck extremely fast.
I'm not sure what to say about this one ....
.... except that icebergs make you laugh.

960 miles to go

We're all geared up for our last 19-hour bus ride – the final leg back to Buenos Aires. We get on the bus today in Bariloche at 2pm and get off in BA at 9am tomorrow. We're on the second floor, with front-row seats with fantastic views. We've done so many of these long-haul bus rides that we have the road supplies down to a science: seven crosswords saved from back-issues of the Buenos Aires Herald, three books (Enduring Patagonia, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf), a bottle of Malbec-Syrah, one 5mg valium (for me, this time), a box of snoozers, journals, a liter of water, a tupperware full of salad, 100g of cured ham, a mini round of goat cheeze, five whole-wheat rolls and the Swiss Army knife. The food they serve on the bus just doesn't cut it as a main course. The whiskey is harsh but cold and the red wine sucks, which is why we bring our own.
