Above all, do not lose your desire to walk: every day I walk myself into a state of well-being and walk away from every illness; I have walked myself into into my best thoughts, and I know of no thought so burdensome that one cannot walk away from it.

Ditchin' keys
There's something so liberating about removing a key from my key ring. Everything about me feels lighter. I sold the 4Runner the other day. We won't need two cars now that we're moving to a city again.
When we moved to Buenos Aires (our last big move before this country life), we whittled the keys down to zero. I watched 'em go: first the keys to the random padlocks that protected my crap. Then the cars, then the apartment, then the spare to my parents' house. Until I was left with just the key ring -- and no locks to lock. We took a shuttle to the airport and left.
Everyone should do it at some point. Ditch every key on the key ring, one by one, until all your left with is that little steel circle in your hand.
